This is an exciting career opportunity to work as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) as part of our dynamic nursing team at Gold Coast Private. You will work in partnership with support networks and a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) your responsibilities will include:
Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
Work as part of the health care team practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries
Essential Criteria:
Certificate IV in Health Care from an approved training provider
Experience in a similar setting
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated effective written verbal communication
Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
Flexibility to manage shift work (including day & night shifts) over 7 days
