The Opportunity

Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents their families and colleagues 7 days a week across AM PM and Nightshifts. This role based at our brand-new Melbourne care home location at Knoxfield (Residential Aged Care Facilities - Our Locations Infinite Care) will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. About You

At Infinite Care we hire for heart so our best people are highly empathic instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to think on your feet communicate effectively build rapport and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers addition you will also

• Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential aspect of the role.
• Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) is desirable for this role however given the nature of the role working across resident lifestyle activities a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is also eligible.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work for Infinite Care in the Aged Care sector (*or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
• Very positive teamwork attitude a trusted co-worker excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and always follow strict safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.

• Display a positive fun and confident personality to help our residents (*who sometime can be very shy) to get involved in lifestyle and group activities.

Our care roles are busy! Alot of bending lifting pushing and squatting to perform your duties safely. All candidates will be required to complete an online medical assessment to maintain personal and workplace safety standards.
