The Location

Set in beautifully landscaped acreage alongside theCurrumbin Creek Bolton ClarkesGalleon Gardensprovides high-quality aged and dementia care in a friendly secure and comfortable residential environment.

The Role

We are looking for a part-time Activities Assistant to empower and engage with our Residents to maximise their participation in Leisure and Lifestyle programs.

Our focus for residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants our Activities officers facilitate this through:

Participation in the development implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans
Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs

To be successful youll need:

Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Cert III in Aged Care (essential)
Previous experience in Aged Care
Experience working with memory support (dementia) highly desirable
Availability and reliability to commit to the required shifts
Complete a police check
NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc.)
Energetic and effective communicator
Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
