Healthcare Risk Management and Compliance Attorney Texas

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Risk Management and Compliance Specialist with extensive experience in hospital systems in Texas. The successful candidate will be well-versed in identifying assessing and mitigating risks within healthcare settings while promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess potential risks in various healthcare settings including hospitals and clinics.
• Develop and implement strategic risk mitigation plans to enhance patient safety and minimize liability.
• Manage legal and regulatory compliance insurance policies and claims processing efficiently.
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure safety and operational efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required.
• JD preferred but not required.
• At least 10 years of direct experience working in Texas and/or familiarity with Texas healthcare regulations.
• Extensive experience in risk management within a hospital system.
• Proven track record in clinical/patient safety risk financing legal and regulatory compliance healthcare operations and claims/litigation management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Compensation Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $140000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits 401K and more.
