The firms practice areas include police misconduct and civil rights personal injury and wrongful death nursing home neglect and abuse employment law and business and contract litigation.
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with meaningful federal litigation experience to join the firms growing Downtown Los Angeles office. This position offers hands-on responsibility for sophisticated matters close collaboration with seasoned trial attorneys and the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution.
The ideal candidate is comfortable practicing in federal court thrives in a fast-paced and complex litigation environment and is driven by work that delivers meaningful results for clients.
Handle all phases of civil litigation in state and federal courts
Draft pleadings motions and discovery
Conduct and defend depositions
Appear in court for hearings conferences and motion practice
Manage a caseload of approximately 1015 active matters
Work directly with partners on complex litigation strategy and trial preparation
Minimum 3 years of federal litigation experience (5 years strongly preferred)
Experience in civil rights consumer employment or personal injury litigation
Strong motion practice and discovery skills
Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy abilities
California Bar membership in good standing
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a small elite team
Salary: $170000 - $240000
