Gas Project Support at Enbridge has an opening for an Sr Project Support Specialist. This position will be located at our Youngstown or Akron Ohio location.

What you will do:

This role manages and utilizes third party computer software hardware and related technical equipment. Manages and maintains third-party databases. Scopes projects handles RFPs and controls contractor services costs. Performs quality control or quality assurance functions. Manages multiple projects simultaneously. Develops and delivers training and tailgates. Knowledge of regulatory code and will participate in regulatory audits and support compliance issues. Prepares correspondence to address regulatory issues. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for operational and compliance issues. Monitors and audits data related to operational and compliance activities. Interfaces with Information Technology as needed. May test and evaluate new technology and specialized equipment. Applies knowledge and technical skills to provide operational project management design and procurement of materials and direction to craft and contractors. Independently performs evaluations calculations analysis and design to support the operational and regulatory compliance requirements for Transmission Storage Distribution and Gathering Pipeline Systems. Provides support direction and advice in analyzing and evaluating pipeline systems equipment and programs. Develop new programs needed for operational and/or regulatory compliance activities. Provides project management including scoping scheduling budget development cost tracking and operational oversight. Utilizes computer technology in analysis of operating performance data to verify pipeline systems are operated and maintained as required by company policies and procedures and regulatory agencies. Performs evaluations of events and root cause analysis to recommend corrective action as needed. Analyzes pipeline operations performance. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Who you are:

• At least 3 years directly-related experience including utility locating utility construction/design experience survey quality control/assurance field inspections field operations.

• Knowledge of related applications and databases.

• Strong computer skills.

• Ability to perform data analysis.

• Ability to diagnose and offer guidance on specialized programs.

• Conceptual thinking and reasoning abilities.

• Competency in logical and analytical thinking.

• Ability to collect accurate data analyze problems and develop solutions.

• Knowledge in the operation and application of personal computers handheld devices and software programs.

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor

Associates degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.

Licenses

Valid drivers license is required.

• Monday to Friday work schedule to support ongoing construction activities

Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):

Balancing bending and stooping climbing crawling carrying (up to 45 amount of pounds) grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement.
