Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Eastern Realm Solution is recruiting for a Project Manager position that will support the Alaska Department of Health Division of Health Care Services (HCS)by managing day-to-day project activities for MMIS/MES modernization DDI (Design Development Implementation) vendor coordination and procurement-driven initiatives. Responsibilities include leading technical and business stakeholders overseeing schedules reviewing deliverables and supporting compliance with CMS modularity and Interoperability requirements.
*Offer will be contingent upon contract award
Essential Functions
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Lead and manage project schedules deliverables milestones and reporting activities
- Facilitate technical meetings with State stakeholders and vendor teams
- Review and track DDI deliverables and ensure compliance with CMS requirements
- Oversee risk issue and action-item management
- Support contract administration tasks including performance monitoring and invoice validation
- Coordinate with acquisition personnel on procurement activities
- Provide analysis and recommendations on schedule quality or deliverable concerns
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in federal or state project management
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (or specified clearance type)
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Information Technology Health Informatics Business or related field
- PMP certification required
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile/Scrum certification
- Experience supporting MMIS/MES Medicaid systems or other large-scale government IT modernization programs
- FAC-P/PM Mid-Level certification
