CMVM / School of Regeneration & Repair.

Open Ended Contract - Permanent.

Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.

The Opportunity:

This post will play a central role in supporting researchers using single-cell and spatial transcriptomics approaches at the Institute for Regeneration & Repair. The postholder will design and run experiments advise on project planning and data quality and contribute to the smooth operation of the facility through technical expertise user support and training.

This is a full-time (35 hours per week) on-site position.

The salary for this post is 41064 to 48822 per annum.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A postgraduate degree in a biological or related subject with a strong focus on molecular and cellular biology or equivalent experience in these areas
  • Substantial laboratory experience in diverse molecular and cellular biology techniques relevant to genomics and transcriptomics methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Proven interpersonal organisational and time/project management skills with the ability to advise and support researchers at all levels
  • Excellent written numeracy and IT skills.
