Job Summary
Do you want to teach across Key Stage 2 in a supportive Independent School in Wandsworth from January 2026 This Independent School is seeking a versatile and inspiring KS2 Teacher to join the KS2 team on a Full-Time basis. The appointed KS2 Teacher will be part of planning before January 2026 will attend a full induction in January 2026 and will begin classroom teaching from January 2026 as the KS2 Teacher.
A week in the life of the KS2 Teacher
Mornings: the KS2 Teacher leads sequenced maths and English lessons that emphasise reasoning retrieval and vocabulary development. Afternoons: the KS2 Teacher delivers enquiry-based foundation topics practical science and creative projects designed to build cultural capital. The KS2 Teacher runs targeted interventions leads small groups and liaises with parents.
Impact development and progression for the KS2 Teacher
The Independent School provides a structured CPD pathway so the KS2 Teacher can develop into subject leadership. From induction in January 2026 the KS2 Teacher will have coaching cycles peer observation and a protected CPD allowance. There will be opportunities for the KS2 Teacher to lead curriculum projects and to mentor colleagues after successful performance following January 2026.
