In this role you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality radiological services ensuring accurate diagnoses and patient care. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment plans and contribute to the overall success of our client facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays MRIs and CT scans
- Analyze imaging results and provide accurate interpretations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to discuss imaging findings
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation of radiological services
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all imaging procedures
- Participate in peer reviews and continuous education to enhance skills
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Radiology
- 3 years of experience in radiology preferably in a locum or contract role
- Proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Current state medical license and certifications required for practice
Schedule: 8a-5p
Call: 5p-8a
Setting: 60% outpatient 40% inpatient
Daily Volume: 9-10 procedures
Duties: Inpatient consults outpatient clinic visits inpatient and outpatient procedures and inpatient emergencies/trauma coverage
Procedures: Biopsies kyphoplasty port placements para/thora etc.
Will supervise APPs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
