Description
This contract position is on-site and offers an incredible opportunity to work in the dynamic field of anesthesiology within the medical practice industry.
As a Locum CRNA you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons anesthesiologists and nursing staff to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their surgical experiences.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients before during and after surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans
- Evaluate patient medical histories and conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
- Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated on the latest anesthesia techniques and protocols
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards in the anesthesiology field
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- 1 years of experience in anesthesia practice preferred
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols and medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Valid state nursing license and CRNA certification
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts
No call requirement
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Total Daily Volume: 75 patients
Diverse Caseload: General robotic bariatric vascular thoracic neurosurgery GYN urology ortho ENT OB and healthy pediatric dental and ENT
1:4 medical supervision
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
