Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading Nursing Home in Co Waterford.

Working hours are 39 hours per week


Responsibilities
  • Play a central role in assessing planning implementing and evaluating high-quality nursing care.

  • Lead the nursing team in delivering person-centered care to residents.

  • Prepare and administer medications in accordance with company policy and An Bord Altranais guidelines.

  • Ensure residents hygiene and personal care needs are met to the highest standards maintaining dignity always.

  • Provide palliative care and emotional support to residents and their families.

  • Act as the Director of Nursing in their absence or during emergencies.

  • Plan and allocate nursing teams ensuring an appropriate skill mix and staffing levels for effective care delivery.

  • Organize off-duty rotas holiday schedules and leave plans to maintain workforce balance and service continuity.

  • Collaborate with senior management in budget preparation implementation and evaluation within agreed limits.

  • Monitor and manage resources ensuring proper use of supplies and equipment.

  • Lead by example with a strong team ethos fostering a positive and motivational environment.

  • Coach guide and support nursing and care staff promoting professional growth and team satisfaction.




  • Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years post-registration nursing experience

    • Proven experience in team management and performance oversight

    • At least 3 years of experience in Care of the Elderly

    • Commitment to continuous professional development

    • Strong leadership management and motivational skills

    • Management qualification is desirable

    Required Education:

    Nursing degree at the third qualification is desirable
