We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading Nursing Home in Co Waterford.
Working hours are 39 hours per week
Responsibilities
Play a central role in assessing planning implementing and evaluating high-quality nursing care.
Lead the nursing team in delivering person-centered care to residents.
Prepare and administer medications in accordance with company policy and An Bord Altranais guidelines.
Ensure residents hygiene and personal care needs are met to the highest standards maintaining dignity always.
Provide palliative care and emotional support to residents and their families.
Act as the Director of Nursing in their absence or during emergencies.
Plan and allocate nursing teams ensuring an appropriate skill mix and staffing levels for effective care delivery.
Organize off-duty rotas holiday schedules and leave plans to maintain workforce balance and service continuity.
Collaborate with senior management in budget preparation implementation and evaluation within agreed limits.
Monitor and manage resources ensuring proper use of supplies and equipment.
Lead by example with a strong team ethos fostering a positive and motivational environment.
Coach guide and support nursing and care staff promoting professional growth and team satisfaction.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years post-registration nursing experience
Proven experience in team management and performance oversight
At least 3 years of experience in Care of the Elderly
Commitment to continuous professional development
Strong leadership management and motivational skills
Management qualification is desirable
