Job Summary
Were looking for a detail-driven Tax Manager to lead statutory reporting and tax compliance for our Australian operations. This is a hands-on role with a mix of technical work and cross-functional collaboration offering exposure to both local and international reporting standards.
Youll be responsible for ensuring our financial statements and tax lodgements are accurate timely and fully compliant with AASB/IFRS Australian tax legislation and US GAAP. Youll also work closely with our US parent company and play a key role in improving how we manage and report financial data.
What youll be doing:
- Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements (AASB/IFRS)
- Managing external audits and liaising with auditors and regulators
- Handling tax compliance: Income Tax BAS Employment related tax including: FBT Payroll Tax
- Assist with tax effect accounting and deferred tax calculations
- Advising on restructures transactions and cross-border tax matters
- Maintaining documentation for the ATOs Justified Trust program
- Monitoring tax legislation changes and ensuring compliance
- Driving improvements in reporting processes and systems
Qualifications :
- CA or CPA qualification
- 36 years experience in tax and statutory reporting (Big 4 or multinational experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation AASB/IFRS and ideally US GAAP
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
- A proactive mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
