Senior Full-Stack Engineer

As a Senior Engineer on a fast-moving AI and automation project transforming the lending industry through intelligent underwriting systems youll help build scalable AI-driven solutions that simplify decision-making reduce friction and power next-generation financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Stack Feature Delivery

• Architect develop test and deploy new capabilities in short iterative cycles.

• Balance rapid experimentation with long-term code health and maintainability.

2. Agentic AI Workflows

• Design multi-agent systems using modern orchestration tools to automate parsing validation and decisioning logic.

• Build evaluation and monitoring systems to track agent performance before and after release.

3. Backend Engineering

• Develop secure scalable APIs and services using TypeScript/NestJS.

• Model relational data in PostgreSQL and integrate vector or key-value stores for high-performance retrieval.

4. Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

• Provision and manage cloud resources using AWS CDK.

• Operate containerized services (ECS/Fargate Lambda) and automate CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).

• Maintain strong observability  logging metrics and alerting  for all systems you own.

5. Engineering Breadth

• While primarily backend-focused youll contribute across the full stack as needed.

6. Technical Stewardship

• Document architectural decisions clearly and concisely.

• Lead by example through code reviews and collaboration helping raise engineering standards across the team.

Qualifications :

• 57 years of professional software development with strong experience in TypeScript and backend systems.

• Proven ability to design and scale API-centric systems using experience with AWS (ECS or Lambda RDS/PostgreSQL S3 CloudFront) and Infrastructure-as-Code (CDK preferred).

• Exposure to or interest in AI-driven or agentic architectures (e.g. LangGraph LangChain).

• Solid knowledge of SQL schema design and optimization; familiarity with vector databases (pgvector Weaviate Pinecone) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity with pragmatic decision-making.

• Experience in small or early-stage engineering teams with measurable technical impact.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially in remote async collaboration.

• Background in regulated domains (finance healthcare etc.) is a plus but not required.
