Key Responsibilities
- Apply agile software development practices and define application architecture models and programming standards.
- Design and implement processes for development testing monitoring and change management while setting application development standards.
- Collaborate with product teams to manage technical scope and deliverables identify strategic technical debt and provide cost/benefit analysis and prioritization recommendations
Must-have Skills
- 7 years of Android native Mobile development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Familiar with data structure system design design patterns API designs MVP or MVVM declarative UI Git and DevOps.
- Full stack background is a huge plus. Familiarity with cloud services GraphQL Firebase etc is a plus.
- A passion for news and creativity to introduce new ideas and technologies. If you have a background in journalism even better!
Nice-to-have:
AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work including drafting analysis research or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
