Job Summary
Oaks Port Douglas Resort are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced Kitchen Attendant to join our kitchen team on a casual basis for evening shifts.
You will be joining a hard-working professional and friendly team involved in the delivery of an outstanding melas to our guests.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen
- Operate maintain clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment
- General assistance to employees who are cooking.
- Assisting Cooks with assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Dinner / evening shifts
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
Hourly Rates (excluding super):
- Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour penalty rates
- Saturday: $38.78 per hour penalty rates
- Sunday: $45.24 per hour penalty rates
Qualifications :
- Must have minimum 12 months experience working in a similar position
- Studying commercial cookery or relevant course.
- Have a friendly positive attitude
- Have experience providing quality customer service
- Be impeccably presented with excellent communication skills
- Be reliable and act with a sense of urgency
- Be available to work across a rotating roster including evenings weekends and public holidays
