About the team
The Medical Accommodation Program Team supports the provision of comfortable lodging for people traveling to Darwin for medical appointments or treatment. We operate two accommodation facilities: Barbara James House and Doctor Helen Phillips Cottages. Learn more about our services here.
About these opportunities
In this role youll support the smooth daily operation of our Medical Accommodation Services by maintaining clean welcoming spaces and assisting with basic kitchen duties. Youll help ensure guests feel comfortable and cared for during what can often be a challenging time contributing to a welcoming and supportive environment.
About You
Were looking for someone with:
- The ability to undertake cleaning and laundering activities
- Food handling and kitchen experience
- A Certificate in Food Safety and a First Aid Certificate or the ability to obtain them
- Good communication skills
- A valid drivers licence
- The ability to bend crouch reach overhead and stand for extended periods
