Job Summary
Included but limited to;
- Carry out general maintenance and upkeep of the hotel keeping all areas in exceptional condition.
- Complete a range of minor repairs across the property including basic plumbing carpentry painting tiling bathroom maintenance and glazing (such as replacing broken windowpanes).
- Repair and install internal and external fittings as required such as sliding doors fly screens drawers cupboard doors door locks curtain rods and tiles.
- Liaise with departments and the Maintenance Manager in relation to work requirements.
- Plan and prioritise jobs to ensure deadlines are met
Qualifications :
- Hands-on experience in building maintenance construction or related fields.
- Confident handling a variety of maintenance tasks across a luxury hotel environment.
- Experience in basic carpentry glazing (windowpanes) tiling and grouting.
- Safe and competent in the use of hand and power tools.
- Able to identify and fix minor maintenance or structural issues.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Team player with excellent communication skills to work smoothly with all departments.
- Flexible and adaptable ready to assist in other maintenance areas as needed.
