Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. This role involves performing operational analysis developing system concepts and contributing to the design testing and implementation of complex systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems engineering testing or troubleshooting hardware and software specifically within radio communications or similar technologies.
Essential Functions:
- Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations design and implementation plans
- Develop test plans procedures & cases. Conduct tests and document results.
- Radio software and hardware troubleshooting
- Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users
- Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers
- Communicates with contacts within and outside of own team which may include customers or vendors.
- Explains and interprets operational processes practices and procedures of the job area to others within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project requirements and objectives
- Perform factory acceptance tests in the presence of international customers
- Ability to travel internationally
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in RF engineering systems engineering systems architecture systems analysis and design integration and/or project management.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York state is $69000 - $128000 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
