About The Company
Our client is an emerging electrical contractor with a growing presence in Melbournes commercial construction sector. With a portfolio that includes office fit-outs and new build projects they have built a reputation for quality reliability and professionalism. Their close-knit team of around 20 professionals delivers diverse and technically interesting projects supported by a strong culture of teamwork growth and continuous improvement.
Due to recent business growth they are seeking a capable Project Coordinator to support project delivery across Melbournes CBD and surrounding areas.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and support the successful delivery of commercial electrical projects ensuring timelines resources and documentation are effectively managed.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager and General Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Project administration and reporting tasks
- Supporting technical and design coordination
- Overseeing the delivery of commercial projects
- Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors
- Coordinating and scheduling internal resources
- Liaising with clients internal teams and other key stakeholders
- Managing project documentation and ensuring document control
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of Simpro software (highly advantageous)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- High attention to detail and a proactive solutions-focused approach
- Proven experience in project coordination or project management (essential)
