Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Director to provide leadership and oversight for a post-acute care facility. This role involves ensuring high-quality patient outcomes across skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) rehabilitation hospitals and long-term acute care hospitals (LTACs). The Medical Director will play a key role in maintaining compliance guiding clinical operations and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including Anti-Kickback Statute Stark Law and HIPAA/HITECH.
  • Complete required compliance training and uphold the facilitys compliance program.
  • Disclose and report any exclusions debarments or relevant financial relationships.
  • Ensure continuous physician coverage and appropriate delegation during absences.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership and clinical teams to improve care delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as an independent contractor providing professional medical oversight.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and unrestricted Oklahoma medical license.

  • Active participation in Medicare and Medicaid programs.

  • Current DEA registration including authorization for controlled substances.
  • Compliance with all state and federal requirements for the Medical Director position.
  • Ongoing fulfillment of Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.
