Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Director to provide leadership and oversight for a post-acute care facility. This role involves ensuring high-quality patient outcomes across skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) rehabilitation hospitals and long-term acute care hospitals (LTACs). The Medical Director will play a key role in maintaining compliance guiding clinical operations and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including Anti-Kickback Statute Stark Law and HIPAA/HITECH.
- Complete required compliance training and uphold the facilitys compliance program.
- Disclose and report any exclusions debarments or relevant financial relationships.
- Ensure continuous physician coverage and appropriate delegation during absences.
- Collaborate with facility leadership and clinical teams to improve care delivery and operational efficiency.
- Serve as an independent contractor providing professional medical oversight.
