As a Radiologist you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays CT scans and MRIs
- Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with medical regulations
- Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
- Educate patients and families about imaging procedures and results
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to case discussions
- Assist in the training of medical students and residents as required
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Eligibility for board certification in Radiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with medical imaging software and technologies
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced medical environment
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p with a 1:30p-10p rotation
Setting: Onsite highly preferred but will consider remote
225-bed hospital
Daily Volume: 60-70 cases or up to 140 if reading plain films
Skillsets: General DX with subspecialization (body breast or nuclear)
Team Structure: 13 DX radiologists 3 IRs and 3 PAs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
