Job Summary

Overview

The field service heavy duty technician will work on excavators haul trucks articulated haultrucks wheel loaders bull dozers graders and other commonly used heavy duty construction equipment. They perform repairs and maintenance work to machinery includingengine repair and diagnosticshydraulic system repairs and diagnosticsengine repair and diagnosticstransmission and drive train repairsemission diagnostic and repairs as well aselectrical diagnostic and repairs.

The ex-factor with field service is the ability to work well with customers and foster a good relationship in the field. To be hired in this role you need to have excellent customer service skills ability to see opportunities for service in the field while at work and have excellent self management skills since you are trusted with a lot of autonomy.

Requirements

-Previous heavy construction equipment field service experience preferred.

-421A or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic preferred. Will accept 310T licensed if experienced repairing diagnosing maintaining heavy duty construction equipment.

-Extensive knowledge and experience repairing and maintaining heavy earthmoving or construction equipment.

-Strong interpersonal skills and communication ability.

-Trustworthy and able to meet company deliverables with limited supervision.

-Clean G Drivers license.
