As a Service Manager your duties will include:
- Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services
- Setting quality standards and maintaining thequality of all shopactivities
- Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work
- Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous professional manner
- Advising techniciansof work that must be completed
- Ensuring technicians compliance with company standardsregardingquality safety and customer service
- Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees suppliers and customers
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop
Our ideal candidate has/is:
- 5 years of automotive industry experience
- Advanced Knowledge of mechanical services is required
- Mechanical service experience working with 1 and 5 ton fleet vehicles preferred
- Commercial vehicle inspection program and out of province inspection certifications
- Effective leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and business processes
- High level of integrity and accountability
- A customer service focus
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Continuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements
- Flexible patient and calm when working with tight schedules
