Job Summary
Serve as a live event day manager ensuring Apple quality standards and smooth streaming operations through the platform for viewers. Supervise broadcast operators and quality with technical and non-technical teams (internal & external).Monitor signal flow troubleshoot issues and implement stabilization with engineering and production for optimal signal quality and disaster and adhere to SOPs contributing to updates as a highly flexible schedule including nights and weekends to accommodate live events across various time zones. Broadcast schedules fluctuate based on event to 25% travel required; both domestic and international
- 5 years of experience in broadcasting or streaming in a high-tech multimedia environment.
- Excellent communication skills for leading meetings escalating issues and reporting to executives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Proficiency in time management and meeting deadlines.
- 5 years experience working with technical teams digital media workflows and live production environments.
- Proven proficiency in broadcast signal analysis cloud-based solutions and distribution technologies (CDN SCTE DAI).
- Proven understanding of live television production including switchers audio mixing graphics and IP-based transport (SMPTE 2110. HLS SRT RTMP etc.).
- 2 years of proven experience working with broadcast regulations encryption systems and compliance standards.
- Bachelors degree in Broadcasting Media Studies Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- Effective communicator resilient collaborative and able to prioritize and make timely decisions.
- Experience with live sports broadcasts beneficial.
