PHILIPPINE-BASED FILIPINO APPLICANTS
An amazing opportunity exists to work with the Australian Building industry for an experienced vibrant and high-energy Australian Bookkeeper.
Reporting to the Director and/or Finance Manager you will be responsible for supporting the accounts team with bookkeeping and accounts administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process payroll in Xero.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Handle superannuation WorkCover remuneration and LeavePlus requirements.
- Process contractor payments and maintain accurate records.
- Allocate project costs accurately for reporting and profitability analysis.
- Prepare Profit and Loss statements balance sheet items and cash flow forecasts.
- Maintain organised financial files and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Adhoc bookkeeping tasks
Requirements
- Proficient in Xero (required).
- Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience in payroll reconciliations and end-to-end bookkeeping tasks.
- Experience in preparing BAS
- Understanding of Australian financial requirements including super and WorkCover.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with clear communication.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with internal teams and customers
Work Environment & Expectations
While this is a work-from-home position it is important to note that this is a full-time rolenot a freelance or flexible-hour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability just as you would in an office environment.
This role requires:
Discipline and commitment to set working hours (strict shift times not flexible)
Use of time tracking software during work hours
Active participation in team and client calls with your camera ON
Consistent availability and responsiveness throughout your shift
Treating this as a long-term full-time jobnot a side gig or freelance task
Payroll is processed bi-monthly.

1. Monthly Salary: PHP 35000
2. Salary will be paid on a bi-monthly basis on the 15th and 30th or 31st of each month

5 days of sick leave
5. HMO Offered after 6-month probation
6. 13th Month Pay after 30 days
7. Annual Salary Review
8. Laptop provided after 30 days
