A Telecommunications company is looking for a skilled Senior Backup and Recovery Engineer to join their team!

Key Responsibilities:

Design and manage backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies
Implement and maintain Microsoft Failover Clusters Hyper-V and storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs to ensure data integrity
Collaborate with teams to ensure comprehensive backup coverage and compliance
Provide technical support and maintain documentation for backup systems

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Proven experience in enterprise-level backup and recovery engineering
Strong knowledge of Microsoft clustering and virtualization technologies
Hands-on expertise with SAN/NAS storage and mainstream backup tools (e.g. Veeam and Commvault)
Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and cloud-based backup solutions (e.g. Azure and AWS)
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell and Bash) for automation and troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving documentation and communication skills; relevant Certifications preferred
