Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday working either remote in the United States or onsite at our 4101 Percival Road Columbia SC location. Travel is required.
What Youll Do:
Develop and implement initiatives and programs to assist organization to meet long term goals and objectives.
Evaluates organizational performance strengths and weakness and competitive landscape in order to identify new growth opportunities.
Ensure business development plans are positioned and communicate appropriately.
Responsible for development of new account sales and ensuring sales objectives are met.
Manage existing partnerships and relationships with consultants and brokers to ensure continued value and mutual growth.
Researches/compiles presentations and sales materials as needed.
Coordinates client and agent input into renewal process.
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities and understand industry trends and the competitive landscape.
Collaborate with the sales team to align strategies and maximize lead conversion. Delivers presentations and proposals for groups.
Creates and oversees effective marketing materials in all channels (print trade show web and other media) to ensure companys value is communicated to the potential prospects and current customers.
To Qualify for This Position Youll Need the Following:
Required Education: Bachelors degree
Degree Equivalency: 4 years of direct self-funded employer sales/marketing experience
Required Experience:
10years business development sales in healthcare insurance industry.
4 years direct sales and marketing role (may be concurrent).
Required Software and Skills: Microsoft Office
Required Licenses and Certificates: Department of Insurance Licensure must be obtained within 60 days of hire in state employed.
Work Environment: Typical office environment. Travel is required to support company revenue objectives.
