DescriptionThe ProAV Technical Sales Director will be responsible for driving territory sales through technical product and curated support across NA. This role will collaborate with our customers and cross-functional teams to integrate high value and more technical solutions. The Technical Sales Director should have excellent track record of revenue performance building teams managing KPIs and presentation skills.
JOB DUTIES:
- Work closely with the ProAV Technical Sales BDMs and accounts to drive revenue and margin enhancements with customers and through local stores.
- Technically support strategic brands with customers to ensure project success while acting as the technology subject matter expert and providing guidance to Category Strategy on potential new brands/solutions.
- Attend industry events to meet with customers to discuss product solutions and provide training for customers.
- DevelopstrongworkingrelationshipswithADISalesLeaders across multiple disciplines
- Prepare weekly/monthlysalesreportsincludingperformanceagainstKPIs along with SFDC documentation using tools like SFDC and BI
- Travel in field with reps create development and coaching plans
- Exceed sales targets present/report out on metrics and identify new opportunities to hit targets including specific gap closure plans.
- Facilitate system designs with the internal design team and professional services teams.
- Consistently and accurately reporting metrics and tracking in sales management tools.
- Quickly responding to supplier field and customers needs
- Work with Engineering and Services leader to develop growth plans enhance Services offering improve portfolio
- Look at ways to improve overall technical discipline (tied to PAV) across the org
- Develop SME plans to lay foundation for large category disciplines in alignment with current portfolio and leadership
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 10+ Years experience in the technology of the Audio Visual industry
- Problem-solver with strong client/executive relationship management abilities
- Willing to travel 25% of the time
- Proven experience leading strategic organizational planning and leading large scale projects
