About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a cross-functional DataHub squad within aglobal data transformation program is part of a strategic initiative to centralize reference datamanagement ensuring quality security and accessibility across all businessareas.
You will play a key role in developing andmaintaining a modern data ecosystemdriving continuous improvements in data ingestion integration and exposurewhile aligning with the organizations datastrategy and IT standards.
The role operates in an Agile environment collaborating closely with business teams data specialists and IT stakeholders todeliver high-quality and scalable data solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Platform Management & ContinuousImprovement
Gain a deep understanding of the DataHub product itsfeatures and use cases.
Participate in RUN activities tomaintain the platform and propose improvements for reliability and efficiency.
Contribute to the platforms transformation intoa new Data Fabric productaligned with the companys strategic roadmap.
Development & Implementation
Analyze business requirements propose tailored data engineering solutionsand ensure successful delivery within scope budget and quality standards.
Design develop and maintain data pipelines foringestion transformation integration and exposure.
Monitor production systems and fix issues toensure stability and performance.
Collaborate with developers service centersand test teams to ensure full understanding and correct implementation ofbusiness needs.
Optimization & Documentation
Measure and monitor product performance indicatorsand report findings to management.
Identify and implement technical optimizationsor process automation opportunities.
Maintain accurate and updated technical documentation.
Collaboration & Agile Participation
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such assprint planning backlog refinement reviews and retrospectives.
Provide usersupport and ensure effective communication with stakeholdersand business users.
Contribute to team knowledge sharingand support junior members when necessary.
Mandatory TechnicalRequirements
To be considered your CV must clearlyinclude the following:
Universitydegree in Computer Engineering Data Science or a relatedfield;
6years of experience as a Data Engineer;
Proven expertise with:
o SQL (Master level)
o Python development (Master level)
o Starburst / Trino / Airflow (Masterlevel)
Experience with ETL/ELT processes (atleast one significant project);
Knowledge of CI/CD toolchains and automatedtesting;
Experience with Cloud architecturesincluding containers object storage (COS) and S3-like protocols;
Proficiency in Linux environments and KSH scripting;
Understanding of data security protocols file exchange systems (CFT)and distributedarchitectures.
Optional Technical Skills(Nice to Have)
Having one or more ofthese skills is a plus:
Javadevelopment (Spring Batch and API experience);
OracleSQL knowledge;
Experience with data platforms in largeenterprise environments.
Language Requirements
French:C1 (mandatory)
English:B2 (mandatory)
