Job Summary
ENGINEERING ARCHITECT / CLOUD SOLUTIONS (HYBRID LISBON)
Portuguese company hires for hybrid position
Location: Lisbon Portugal
Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered
Work Model: Hybrid 2 days/week on-site
Language Requirements: English C1

Role Overview
We are looking for an Engineering Architect to join a Technology Architecture team operating in a dynamic international and multilingual environment. This role focuses on technology governance architectural standards DevSecOps practices cloud platforms and engineering excellence across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to studies on programming languages frameworks and technology stacks
Ensure applications comply with technology standards and architecture principles
Review and validate technical designs and specifications
Manage and report technical risks
Validate technologies and software used across the organization
Drive innovation efficiency and modern engineering practices
Participate in PoCs and technical assessments of emerging technologies
Contribute to the evolution of DevSecOps toolchains
Mandatory Technical Requirements (must be explicit in the CV)
Proven experience as a Technology / Engineering Architect
Strong knowledge of architecture patterns and principles
Solid experience with Cloud solutions (IaaS PaaS KaaS)
Experience designing and supporting complex production systems
Knowledge of monolithic n-tier SOA and microservices architectures
Experience with containers and orchestration tools
Familiarity with middleware components (WAF Load Balancer MQ API Gateway Event Broker)
Strong understanding of IT Security (encryption authentication authorization vulnerability management)
Languages
English: Expert (mandatory)
French: Nice to have
