Job Summary
Shangri-La Boracay
Located in the countrys premier beach destination Shangri-LaBoracay is a luxurious and serene haven for vacationers. We are looking for a Assistant Training Manager.
As an Assistant Training Manager we rely on you to:
- Assist the Director of Human Resources in accomplishing hotel and department goals
- Identify the departments training needs and develop a training plan for skills knowledge and other areas for improvement
- Assess training needs based on performance monitor employee feedback guest comments among others
- Assist the Director of Human Resources in administering HR policies and procedures promoting culture and creating a learning environment
- Demonstrate key competencies and values
- Be a role model of the Shangri-La beliefs purpose and vision
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for learning and development
- Preferably possesses relevant experience in a luxury hotel
- Has good communication and people management skills
- Communicates and writes with fluency in English
- Has strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
- Enjoys interacting with people
- Is a critical thinker and a problem solver
- Is able to communicate priorities and drives business results
