About the Role
As anAssistant Indian Chef you will be focusing on delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring timely courteous and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily requisitions for the required food items ensuring all food products are prepared and served according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of kitchen equipment utensils and work areas.
- Assist Chefs in developing new recipes and F&B promotions.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
About You
- At least 3 years of experience in Hotels with similar capacities or restaurants.
- Sound knowledge in Indian and Southeast Asian cuisines as well as latest market trends.
- Familiar with kitchen operations including HACCP cost control and safety standards.
- Team player with strong communication multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English fluent in Cantonese and/or Putonghua would be an advantage.
