Our client is a Japanese Retail MNC.
Responsibilities:
- The Manager will be the gatekeeper for the timeliness and accuracy of employee-related payments (including annual cycles). It is a primary role to review these payments and keep a systematic cycle for this. The Manager will collaborate with relevant departments vendors and stakeholders to achieve this day-to-day operations the Manager will lead and supervise the HR Services members in managing and completing HR processes and systems to the expected timeline and accuracy level.
- Managing multiple levels of stakeholders. Most regular will be store operations where HRS is the primary contact in HR matters with store managers in handling new hires regular and resigned employees. As relevant to your responsibility you will take the lead in discussions and conclusions with other Department Managers Directors and Management to achieve HR and Company goals.
- As a subject matter expert you will take the lead in keeping up with employment regulations of the country and then advise Management and execute relevant course of actions. You will attend to the latest trends in HR practices which may influence our position as an employer of choice for high talent and retail. You are also empowered to represent the Company in attending to Government labour officers and internal regulators (meetings/audits/visits).
- As an HR strategist you will work with the HR Director Global HR other HR Managers Management and other Departments in the annual and midterm plans/projects to achieve the companys mid-long-term goals. This includes a review of hygiene factors including necessary frameworks specific schemes for targeted groups and systems to be in place.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in any related field
- Strong proficiency in English (written & verbal)
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or in a relevant area.
- Excellent in English (written & verbal) Bahasa Malaysia.
- Minimum 7 years of working experience in overall HR management with strong knowledge of
- Employment Act. Retail HR experience and expatriate management will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years experience in managing a team. Passionate in nurturing and mentoring young
- members in being a HR subject matter expert.
- Eye for detail and accuracy-driven. Excellent advanced and complex Excel skills and good analytical skills.
