PwC is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist who will serve as a subject matter expert within the AP team supporting process ownership and improvements complex reconciliations and Payables system administration for Workday Financials. This role will collaborate closely with finance procurement and technology teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will:
Bring 3 years of experience in enterprise level Accounts Payable ideally in shared services or multi entity environment
Have hands on experience in Workday Financials
Demonstrate hands-on experience leading a team of AP specialists including implementing controls and continuous process improvements
Possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
Have proven experience working with cross border teams
Possess excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills
Be based in Mexico City or willing to relocate
Bachelors or masters degree in accounting Finance or related field; CPA / Chartered Accountant qualification preferred.
Fluency in English
This role will report into PwCs Accounts Payable Manager Managed Services but act as the principal interface to the AP Specialists and key vendors ensuring delivery of high-quality accounts payable services and scalability.
