Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Senior Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Operations Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and lead our cloud infrastructure automation initiatives. You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining scalable infrastructure-as-code solutions that support our growing platform and engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Deliver improvements and extensions to existing application functionality
Ensure all configuration and development changes follow the appropriate software creation process adhering to all appropriate controls and provide technical support as needed
Proactively find opportunities to improve development standards within Vail Resorts technology ecosystem
Work closely with all partners to seek opportunities to evolve our software applications to support business objectives
Work directly with managers developers business analysts business stakeholders contract developers and consulting partners on the development and support of projects and enhancements.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
Application development experience in C#
Experience working with SQL Server at the enterprise level
Development experience using Web API or similar technology
Development experience working within an Agile environment with Scrum software development framework
Strong HTML CSS and JavaScript skills
Ability to write clean testable code covered by high value unit tests
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

RESTful APIs
Using Git for source control
Strong mobile/cross-platform development
POS/Transaction/Credit Card processing experience
