Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Growth & Financial Planning

  • Annual Planning & Forecasting:Develop and own the annual quarterly and monthly eCommerce sales forecasts and budget plansfor both Amazon and Shopify channels aligning with overall company revenue targets and profitability goals.
  • Profitability Optimization:Analyze and actively manage the end-to-end COGS shipping costs platform fees and advertising spend to continuously improve the net profitability (e.g. Contribution Margin) of every product SKU on both marketplaces.
  • Competitive Strategy:Lead continuous competitive intelligencegathering executing responsive pricing and promotional strategies while identifying untapped market segments and white-space opportunities for expansion.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI):Strategically lead the phased rollout and market penetration plan for all new product launches across both platforms coordinating all listing advertising and inventory requirements for a successful launch.

Tactical Execution & Advertising Mastery

  • Advanced Advertising Management:Own the strategy execution and daily optimization of advanced advertising tactics on both platforms including Amazon DSP (Demand-Side Platform)for reach/remarketing and detailed segmentation within Shopify marketing channels(e.g. retargeting campaigns).
  • Listing Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):Conduct systematic A/B testing of product titles key images A Content/EBC and bullet points to maximize conversion rates and search rankings on Amazon and product page performance on Shopify.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Integration:Work directly with the supply chain team to refine inventory forecasting models based on sell-through velocity and promotional lifts. Tactically manage inventory placement and transfer requeststo maintain optimal stock levels (FBA/FBM and Shopify fulfillment centers).
  • Search Engine Mastery:Lead and execute advanced keyword research and listing indexation strategies to ensure maximum organic search visibility on both the Amazon search engine and the Shopify site.

Site Experience Reporting & Compliance

  • Site Merchandising & UX:Own the dynamic merchandising of the Shopify storefront using analytics to map customer journeys and implement changes to collections home page features and cross-sell placements to increase Average Order Value (AOV)and site conversion.
  • Data Synthesis & Reporting:Design and automate comprehensive executive-level reports that synthesize performance data from Amazon Seller Central Shopify Analytics and advertising platforms providing a single source of truth for channel health.
  • Compliance & Account Health:Proactively monitor and maintain the health metrics and compliance requirements for both Amazon accounts (e.g. performance notifications customer service standards) to ensure uninterrupted selling privileges.
  • Customer Review Strategy:Develop and execute a continuous strategy for generating authentic high-quality customer reviews and ratings on both platforms to boost social proof and organic ranking.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on dedicated experiencemanaging and optimizing high-growth eCommerce operations with mandatory expert-level proficiency in both the Amazon Seller/Vendor Central ecosystemand the Shopify platform.
  • Proven success as a high-impact individual contributorwho has directly managed and scaled annual revenue exceeding eight figures in a DTC environment.
  • Deep demonstrable expertise in advanced digital advertisingacross both Amazon Ads (including DSP) and platform-agnostic tools like Google Analytics and paid social channels.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills including expert-level proficiency in Excel/Sheets for modeling forecasting and profitability analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both a strategic planning leveland a tactical execution levelwithin a fast-paced high-volume environment.
