Job Title:Nutrition Manager
Reports To:Director ofChild Nutrition
Contracted Days:180
Job Summary:This position is expected to have a broad knowledge of food service techniques functions and foodservice preparation experience. They should have a goal-oriented mindset and maintain goodresponsible organization skills for performing diverse duties and interacting with staff.
Essential Duties:
Attend and complete required job-related training classes and workshops.
Participating in 12 hours of training each year will be expected to stay up to date on policiesprocedures safety standards and training with breakfast & lunch applications.
Practice appropriate procedures to ensure sanitation and safety standards are met in the
preparation of the service area; preparing serving and storing food; use and care of equipment;personal habits.
Follow verbal and/or written instructions for preparing portioning garnishing and serving mealsstoring food and utilizing and maintaining equipment and facility.
Consistently demonstrate efficient and productive use of time and resources to meet establishedproductivity standards.
Maintain with accuracy all required records and forms including time sheets absence reportsfood and supply usage records cashier records etc.
Consistently demonstrate the ability to communicate positively with students co-workers andschool staff.
Follow procedures in personnel matters including grievance absence job bidding and
established dress code.
If cashier receive continued on-the-job training as required by software updates; maintainaccuracy in daily transactions and money collections and accounting.
Perform food service-related tasks as assigned by the manager or his/her representative.
