Job Summary
Senior Project Manager Enterprise PMO
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale multi-year modernization initiative within a public-sector enterprise environment. This role sits within an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and partners closely with centralized IT services technical delivery teams and executive stakeholders to deliver a high-priority transformation program.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced multi-vendor delivery environment supporting a hybrid workforce (combination of on-site and remote work). Strong communication stakeholder management and formal IT project management experience are essential.
This position requires on-site support two days per week with the remaining time remote.
Senior ERP Systems Integration Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-scale ERP and systems integration initiatives involving Oracle and/or SAP platforms.
- Provide PMO leadership governance and delivery oversight for complex high-visibility programs.
- Oversee cross-functional technical teams including architecture and integration across multiple SaaS solutions.
- Develop maintain and manage large-scale project schedules (5000 line integrated plans).
- Manage multi-vendor environments ensuring contractual deliverables timelines and quality standards are met.
- Actively manage cost schedule scope quality resources risks and dependencies.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level communications status reports and briefings tailored to diverse audiences.
- Foster collaboration and consensus between business technical and vendor teams.
- Lead change management processes including scope schedule and budget change requests.
- Develop corrective action plans for projects at risk or off-plan.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise project management and system engineering methodologies across the full project lifecycle.
- Manage inter-agency or cross-organization dependencies and integration points.
- Ensure accurate documentation of project artifacts including charters budgets schedules communication plans risk logs and project closeout summaries.
Core Project Management Functions
- Utilize enterprise Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools to:
- Develop schedules
- Assign resources
- Track budgets and financials
- Monitor and communicate project health using standard PM metrics and reporting frameworks.
- Ensure benefits realization and alignment to approved business cases.
- Review vendor contracts and manage delivery against approved milestones and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to ensure deliverables are clearly assigned reviewed and completed.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience managing large-scale ERP or enterprise IT programs (Oracle and/or SAP).
- Proven experience leading global ERP initiatives with:
- Teams of 20 resources
- Budgets exceeding $750M
- 7 years of formal IT project management experience using industry best practices.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing:
- Project budgets
- Integrated schedules
- Risk and issue logs
- Change requests
- 5 years experience with:
- Project Portfolio Management tools (e.g. Clarity or equivalent)
- Advanced Microsoft Project usage
- SaaS integration oversight
- Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) implementations
- Multi-vendor delivery environments (public-sector experience strongly preferred)
- Prior experience as a developer or senior technical project manager.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder groups across business technical and executive levels.
Highly Desired
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Global ERP Project Management leading 20 member team with over $750M budget. - 7 years In-depth knowledge of and experience in IT project management including industry standard and best practices. - 7 years Experience establishing and maintaining project budgets schedules change requests risk and issue logs and have a proven record for delivering projects on time and on budget in a formal project manager role - 5 years Experience using a project portfolio management systems and tools (eg.) Clarity - 5 years Advanced working knowledge of MSProject - PMP certification highly desired
