Job Summary
Job Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Foster City CA (Onsite Local Candidates Only)
Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex IT implementations in a regulated environment. This role requires strong stakeholder management financial ownership and the ability to drive multiple work streams while engaging executive leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating independently and managing vendor-led delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT implementation projects end-to-end
- Track and manage project milestones deliverables and timelines
- Coordinate with technology vendors and internal business/technical teams
- Ensure vendor deliverables align with contractual agreements
- Manage multiple work streams concurrently
- Identify track and mitigate project risks and issues
- Present project updates to executive leadership and escalate concerns proactively
- Prepare and deliver weekly status reports
- Facilitate monthly Steering Committee meetings and create executive-ready decks
- Manage projects in accordance with Customer IT PMO governance standards
- Oversee financial management including budget tracking accruals and forecasts
- Create and manage purchase orders and invoices in SAP
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager leading enterprise implementations
- Strong stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills
- Experience managing vendors and third-party partners
- Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously
- Strong risk issue and dependency management skills
- Experience preparing executive-level reporting and dashboards
- Financial management experience including budget tracking and forecasting
- Hands-on experience with SAP for POs and invoicing
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to lead projects with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- GxP experience (highly preferred)
- Pharmacovigilance project experience (strong plus)
- Experience working in regulated environments (life sciences healthcare pharma
