We are seeking a German Speaking Customer Service & Technical Support Specialist to provide essential support for innovative high-tech medical this crucial on-site role you will be the first point of contact for our German-speaking customers and healthcare professionals providing vital assistance and technical guidance for life-enhancing equipment.
Due to the nature of patient and product support in the medical sector this role requires comfort and commitment to a 24/7 rotational shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Serve as the primary contact for all German-speaking customer inquiries via phone email chat and SMS ensuring a high level of satisfaction and clear communication.
- Technical Assistance: Provide accurate and empathetic technical support and troubleshooting for specialized medical devices and accessories. Guide users through problem-solving steps to ensure the safe and effective operation of their equipment.
- Order Management: Process and manage customer orders product renewals and returns in compliance with defined procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Product Guidance: Educate customers on product usage features and maintenance ensuring they have the knowledge to utilize the medical equipment effectively.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions product issues and resolutions within the CRM system adhering strictly to safety and data privacy regulations.
- Issue Resolution: Apply active listening and problem-solving skills to resolve sensitive or urgent customer issues escalating to specialized teams when necessary.
- Shift Commitment:
You will work a rotational shift pattern from Monday to Sunday with 2 rotational days off per week.
This includes occasional coverage of the Night Shift (22:00 to 07:00) to ensure 24/7 patient support. Candidates must be aware of and comfortable with this rotational schedule.
Candidate Profile
Mandatory Requirements:
- Language Proficiency:
- German: Fluent/Native level proficiency (minimum C1 level) in both written and spoken German.
- English: Advanced proficiency (minimum B2 level) in both written and spoken English for internal communication training and documentation.
- Work Arrangement: Willingness and ability to work on-site in Porto Portugal.
- Commitment to Shifts: Must be comfortable and committed to working on a rotational shift pattern (including days evenings weekends and occasional night shifts).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication interpersonal and active listening skills with a high degree of empathy professionalism and patience.
- Previous experience in Customer Service Technical Support or a Call Center environment is beneficial but not required.
