About the role:

The Director of HR & Admin is a strategic and operational leader responsible for building and nurturing a high-performance organizational culture. The role combines strategic HR leadership with operational excellence in facilities management ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Director will lead initiatives in talent management organizational development compliance employee engagement and workplace optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a people and talent strategy aligned with the organizations vision mission and values.

  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership providing insights on organizational design workforce planning and change management.

  • Build and implement HR policies and practices compliant with local regulations and global best practices.

  • Foster a high-performance culture through effective talent acquisition retention and engagement initiatives.

Talent Management & Development:

  • Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.

  • Design and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

  • Develop competency frameworks and lead performance management initiatives.

Operational HR Management:

  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding ensuring seamless processes.

  • Drive HR digitization efforts to streamline workflows and improve the employee experience.

  • Lead payroll compliance and HR analytics to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to statutory requirements.

Facilities Management:

  • Oversee the management of facilities including office infrastructure utilities housekeeping and procurement.

  • Ensure workplace safety environmental sustainability and operational efficiency in all facilities-related functions.

  • Drive initiatives to improve the workplace experience with a focus on diversity equity inclusion and accessibility (DEIA).

Leadership Engagement and Team Management:

  • Lead mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team of HR and facilities professionals.

  • Build a positive inclusive and engaging work culture that supports employee well-being.

  • Lead initiatives in employee relations grievance redressal and team-building activities.

  • Serve as a champion for DEIA across all organizational levels.


Professional Experience & Attributes:

  • Education: Masters degree or MBA in Human Resources Organizational Development or a related field.

  • Experience: 10-15 years of HR leadership experience including at least 3 years in a senior management role.

  • Track Record: Proven experience in managing HR functions in a dynamic high-growth environment.

  • Desirable: Experience in facilities management or similar operational roles is highly desirable.

  • Personal Skills: Collaborative and people-focused leader with an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Expertise: Expertise in HR systems workflows and employment law.

  • Mindset: Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities able to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution.
