Role: Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer Location: Clearwater FL -Onsite
Responsibilities: -
Apply expertise in analog and power conversion circuits to conceptualize design and develop power supply systems for commercial military and space-grade products.

Lead or participate in cross-functional teams responsible for designing power supplies that meet performance and reliability requirements in harsh environmental conditions.
-
Perform power architecture trade studies simulations and worst-case analyses generating detailed design artifacts in alignment with hardware design processes.
-
Collaborate with customers Chief Engineers and Systems Engineers to define power requirements and promote design reuse and standardization across projects.
-
Contribute to proposals cost estimations and quotations for analog and power supply development efforts.
-
Partner with customers and internal engineering teams to influence design direction technology selection and methodology improvements.
-
Utilize advanced simulation tools and analytical techniques to ensure optimal design outcomes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Serve as a technical mentor and coach guiding junior engineers and fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
Qualifications: Must Have:
-
Bachelor s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience in power supply design.
-
7 years of experience in the following areas:
-
Power supply design for aerospace products.
-
Proficiency with design capture tools such as Siemens/Mentor DxDesigner and Expedition.
-
Expertise in AC/DC and DC/DC power converter topologies and system-level power architectures.
-
Strong command of circuit simulation and analysis tools (e.g. LTSpice PSpice TINA-TI).
-
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting analog and power supply circuits.
-
Conducting worst-case analysis for analog and power circuitry.
-
Magnetics design experience (transformers inductors EMI filters).
-
5 years of experience in:
-
Project management managing budget schedule and scope for engineering projects.
-
Leading design teams through full product lifecycle from requirements to validation.
-
Mentoring and training junior engineers in design and analysis methodologies.
-
Travel: Up to 5% domestic travel required.
