Job Summary

We are hiring Basic or Senior Grade Dietician for a private hospital in Dublin. Permanent / Full Or Part-Time37 hours (full time)

Key Responsibilities

Offer hospital patients a full range of nutrition and dietetic services.

Promote and maintain throughout the hospital an awareness of sound nutrition and an appreciation of the importance of nutrition in the rehabilitation process.

Support the Dietitian Manager through the implementation and maintenance of best nutrition and dietetic practice

Contribute to the development implementation and updating of nutrition policies procedures and systems that support the needs of the hospital.

Provide a comprehensive Nutrition and Dietetic service to patients undergoing rehabilitation.

Maintain records of treatment care in the patients case notes in line with departmental and hospital policies.

Provide group education sessions to patients as appropriate.

Requirements

A validated dietetic degree and keep your CORU registration current.

At least one and a half years of experience following qualification.

Experience in dietetics for adults with mental health issues and neurodisabilities.

Proof of ongoing professional development at the postgraduate level pertinent to a dietetics speciality.

The capacity to function well both on ones alone and in a multidisciplinary team.
