- The post holder willbe responsible formanaging the delivery of Social Inclusion Services which includes Homeless Addiction Traveller Roma MigrantHealthand LGBTQ servicesacross Louth Meath in line with statutory requirements resourceallocationand service plan targets.
- Working with the General Manager or another nominated officer the Social InclusionManagers playa pivotal role within the local Community Healthcare Organisational structure.
- The SocialInclusionManageris responsible forsupporting the CHO Management Team in achieving the strategic priorities of HSE DublinNorth East
- The post holder will be responsible under the direction of the General Manager or designated officer for managing the delivery of services resourceallocationsand service plan targets across assigned service or functional areas including monitoring and reporting on targets.
- The role will beto lead and manage the Team and workload in areas assigned and will contribute to the development of the Team as well as support itsday-to-dayoperations.
- The role will evolve as the structures within the CHO are further developed andestablished.
Essential Criteria
This campaign is confined to staff who are currently employed by the HSE TUSLA other statutory health agencies* or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 as per Workplace Relations Commission agreement -161867.
* A list of other statutory health agencies can be found: applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition mustpossess:
- Significant operational experience working at a senior level in a complex Healthcare Environment.
- Experience of delivering change programmes involving multiple stakeholders or professional groups.
- Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders as relevant to this role.
- Demonstrate capacity to achieve results through multi-disciplinary and cross sectoral working.
- Significant experiencein team leadership management and development.
- Possessan appropriate thirdlevel qualification in Health Services Management or other relevant qualification (Qualifications Ireland Level 8 or equivalent) is desirable.
Health
A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as wouldindicatea reasonable prospect of ability torenderregular and efficient service.
Character
Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
