Job Summary
POSITIONBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)SUMMARYThe Putnam County ESC is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as a full-time behavioral specialist. This position will provide direct support to ESC-operated classrooms act as a consultant to the nine local school districts of Putnam County and contribute to professional development and systemic behavioral supports. The BCBA will play a key role in helping students with significant behavioral needs succeed in school and preparing educators with tools and strategies to support RESPONSIBILITIESESC ClassroomsConduct classroom and individual student observations in behavioral and autism Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop evidence-based Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs).Collaborate directly with teachers classroom aides and related service providers to implement effective behavioral strategies and provide real-time coaching and student progress using data-based decision-making adjusting interventions as ConsultationServe as a behavioral consultant for Putnam Countys nine school student and classroom observations develop recommendations and model effective a bridge for local districts referring students to ESC classrooms ensuring smoother transitions and consistent a bridge for local districts referring students to ESC classrooms ensuring smoother transitions and consistent supports. Partner with school administrators and teams to strengthen district-level behavioral supports and interventions. Professional Development Data & ComplianceDesign and deliver professional development for ESC and district staff in evidence-based behavioral with data collection analysis and reporting related to behavioral programming and student accurate and timely documentation of services FBAs and BIPs in compliance with state and federal the development and monitoring of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and positive behavior intervention and supports (PBIS).Additional DutiesCollaborate with families to support consistency between home and school behavioral on multi-disciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings as crisis intervention support including de-escalation strategies and post-crisis current with best practices research and ethical standards in behavior analysis and special other related duties as assigned to support the mission of the ESC and 10 Month Contract (202 days)SALARYPer the adopted salary schedule based on verification of experienceBENEFITSSTRS Health Insurance Paid Sick Days per negotiated agreementDEADLINEUntil Filled
