Job Summary

The Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) supports individuals in recovery from substance use disorders by offering encouragement understanding and hope. This role often uses lived experience to help others stay engaged in recovery and work toward long-term success.  You will work with patients going through withdrawal & rehab interacting with all medical and administrative personnel in our center.

What Youll Do:

  • Provide support encouragement and motivation to individuals in recovery
  • Serve as a positive role model mentor and advocate
  • Share recovery education and connect clients to helpful resources
  • Help promote relapse prevention and long-term stability
  • Support a safe respectful and recovery-focused environment

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS)
  • Prior experience with recovery in a behavioral health facility (SMHRF or ICF) is ideal
  • Compassionate reliable and committed to helping others succeed

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT.  We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs) Short-term Care Rehabilitation Intermediate Care (ICFs) and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
