The beautiful Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort and Spa is looking for a Pastry Cook to join the Pastry team at Signature Restaurant!

The ideal candidate will previous pastry experience in a restaurant setting or a pastry degree. They should have a strong understanding of pastry techniques be detail-oriented and capable of maintaining consistency in both flavor and presentation. The candidate must be comfortable working collaboratively with the kitchen team managing time efficiently and upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization.
What will I be doing
As a Pastry Cook you would be responsible for all dessert plating as well as preparing producing and baking all pastries breads rolls and desserts for Signature Restaurant in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Prepare and produce a variety of desserts petit fours and breads in alignment with the restaurants fine dining standards
Execute precise plating of desserts according to the Pastry Chefs standards
Maintain mise en place and ensure readiness for service including preparation of sauces garnishes and decorative elements.
Ensure timely execution of all pastry items during service maintaining composure and efficiency under pressure.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
