Position Description:
This is an onsite opportunity requiring 5 days work from CGI Halifax NS or Moncton NB or St. Johns NL office every week.

We are expanding in Atlantic Canada and we need your skills enthusiasm and dedication as part of our team. We are seeking an experienced Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Angular and TypeScript. Join this exciting new initiative as an Angular Developer.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive high-performance web applications using Angular 12 and related UI technologies.
- Write clean efficient and maintainable code in JavaScript and TypeScript following best practices.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and APIs.
- Design and implement intuitive accessible and user-friendly interfaces aligned with modern UX standards.
- Troubleshoot debug and optimize application performance across browsers and devices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality and architecture.
- Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and frameworks to enhance product capabilities.
- Contribute to system design discussions leveraging understanding of server-side and database architecture.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field.
- 8 years of experience developing Angular/UI technologies.
- In-depth understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript Angular 12 and related development technologies.
- Exposure to Java/other middle-tier technologies will be an added advantage.
- Strong conceptual understanding of server-side and database architecture.
- Solid understanding of standard methodologies in accessible web UX design.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize organize and delegate effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in an Agile team.
