Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Endoscopy/GI Proceduresfor an exciting job inNew York NY.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and GI procedures.
Perform IV insertions phlebotomy and medication administration as needed.
Assist physicians during procedures while maintaining sterile techniques and patient safety.
Administer and monitor conscious sedation ensuring patient comfort and stability.
Conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments and provide patient education regarding recovery and follow-up care.
Document all aspects of patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Comply with infection control safety and quality assurance standards.
Support room and equipment setup cleaning and procedural preparation.
Demonstrate flexibility and dedication by reporting to work as scheduled including holidays.

Required Qualifications

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License (Primary Source Verified).
Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications.
Minimum 2 years of experience in GI/Endoscopy nursing within an acute care setting.
Proven experience in IV insertion phlebotomy and conscious sedation.
